Perth Town Hall was the place to be last Friday night as the undercroft was transformed into a foodie heaven of winter treats. There was something for everyone whether it was an after work meal or a stop off en route to one of 200 show to chose from at the City of Perth’s Winter Arts Season or somewhere to hang with friends to celebrate what we love about winter….there ¬†were plenty of dishes to chose from with some good old favourites and some newcomers to the Supper Club including Paddy’s Spuds with delicious fillings, Snags & Sons with their gourmet hot dogs and a touch of soul food with Cajun Ribs and dirty rice from Ragin’ Cajun. For those with a sweet tooth there were churros, macarons, hand-made chocolates and canales to hit the spot & to accompany all this feasting was Sue Lewis’ decadent spiced hot chocolate, hot mulled wine and for the first time at the Supper Club warm winter cider was served – perfect for a chilly evening under the cloisters of the spectacular Town Hall.

Adding to the vibe was the live music from local Perth talent including the latin sounds of Juliana Areias, aka the Bossa Nova Baby and Bri Clarke accompanied by Jonathan Warwick on keyboard.

A great night was had by all & we look forward to the next Winter Supper Club to be held on Friday 26th July with some more fabulous music from our fair city including one of my favourite Perth singers Odette Mercy – see you all there – the fun kicks off at 4.30pm.
