Claremont Quarter’s Night Kitchen was another amazing success this year – now in it’s 4th successive season this year the event attracted record crowds with the Square & St Quentins Avenue transformed into a Mediterranean feast celebrating the coastal European delights of the region with plenty of fun & festivities for everyone inspired by the culture of the Mediterranean. BASSENDEAN NIGHT MARKET kicked off in March 2015 at Bassendean Shopping Centre on Thursday nights in March. From 5-9pm you could find a wonderful array of delicious street food, great live entertainment & kids fun on the roof top at Bassendean Shopping Centre. More details go to:

Fremantle’s VQ Night Market at Victoria Quay ran again from November 2014 – February 2015.  Held over 12 Wednesday  nights from 5-9pm this market made the most of it’s location set along the spectacular waterfront at the Port of Fremantle in B-Shed. Delicious street food, free entertainment for everyone with a licensed bar area at the water’s edge – this provided a great opportunity to enjoy the Port area – this was a fantastic way to spend our balmy summer evenings. Skyworks 2015 – another successful event held on Australia Day along the Perth foreshore & beyond. Events & Beyond co-ordinated the supply of food vendors for this event & are proud to be involved for the second year in a row. Huge happy crowds, spectacular entertainment all day, a great safe & family friendly event organised with precision – we love working with the City of Perth team & it’s great to celebrate our national day with an event of this scale & success – well done to all involved! We certainly live in the lucky country.

Eat Drink Perth saw a great addition in the city this year with Food meets Fashion in the Hay St Mall for it’s launch event….Perth’s best chefs shared the catwalk with top models show casing Perth’s best dishes alongside some of our top fashion labels….a very glamorous & gorgeous event attracted crowds to the city over lunchtime & set the scene for a great month of eating & drinking in the city.

The Conservation Council of WA launched it’s inaugural Spring Festival. On Sunday 26th October Forrest Place was transformed with all kinds of green, eco-friendly & sustainable stuff! A fantastic day was had by all as we brought a fresh celebration of Springtime to our city whilst greening our corner of the world!

Broome Night Kitchen – March 2013. This wonderful event was held over Thursday nights in March at Claremont Quarter….all the flavour of Broome came to town with colour, music & lights…a fabulous addition to the Town Square at Claremont complete with summer cocktails & Matos Mango beer at the Long Bar. Delicious dishes showcasing the produce of the Broome region were enjoyed by all – combining tasty seafood, Asian delights & bush tucker creations…a tantalising culinary scene complete with an Oyster Bar….magical sounds of the didgeridoo along with great live music under the stars around the long tables….we really enjoyed this one & hope you did too!

Cockburn Central Town Square Grand Opening – Thursday 24th January 2013…..Landcorp’s latest project to revitalise the area was officially launched with this Grand Opening at The Siding, adjacent to the Cockburn Central Train Station…an afternoon of fun for everyone with lots of great entertainment, music & activities proved to be a great way to kick start the action in this innovative space…..

Skyworks at Langley Park…..what better way to celebrate Australia Day than down along the foreshore with friends & family. This year was bigger & better than ever….Langely Park was the place to be with amazing & spectacular entertainment, fabulous food & all topped off with Perth’s famous Sky Show..

WINTER SUPPER CLUB – Perth Town Hall – last Friday of each winter month from 5-8pm

We all enjoyed a little taste of Europe in the heart of the city on the last Fridays of June, July & August this winter…it was a perfect way to warm up after work or on the way to a show with delicious hot food, mulled wine & spiced hot chocolate….set under the magnificent cloisters of the Town Hall nestled on the corner of Barrack & Hay Streets in the city there was plenty to enjoy with live music as part of the City of Perth’s Winter Arts Season took off….

TWILIGHT HAWKERS MARKET – FORREST PLACE, PERTH – this last season ran from Friday 28th Oct 2011 & was held every Friday in the city through until March 2012. Wworking together with the City of Perth we were proud to bring this weekly market to the city to provide a wonderful rustic street food market to Perth, with sights & flavours from around the world. Great food, fantastic live music & roving entertainment – Friday nights in the city had never been better! We look forward to a return next season with even more delicious stalls to offer. Over 4 magical Thursday nights in March – from 8th – 29th – Claremont Quarter hosted it’s first Asian Night Kitchen Market….from 6pm – 9pm the Town Square facing St Quentin Ave came alive with music, lights, food & entertainment – all with a distinct Asian flavour. The delicious tastes & smells of the fabulous street food stalls on offer, the sounds of summer music & the fantastic light display featured each night. An Asian Style Cocktail Bar was also be serving up lemongrass & lychee martinis plus many other exotic flavours….it was a wonderful opportunity to soak up a little Saigon on your own doorstep – thanks to everyone who helped to make this one happen – it was fabulous to see so many people down there each week enjoying the space. WINTERFEST was magical! Sunday 24th June at St Georges Cathedral

A little taste of Europe in the heart of Perth in the middle of Winter. A large crowd celebrated a wonderful night of feasting, fire & fun at St Georges Cathedral. After a Candlelit Evensong Service the terrace lit up with fire, food & live music….warming traditional European treats, delicious mulled wine & hearty dishes warmed our hearts & souls as we enjoyed the backdrop of Perth’s magnificent Cathedral amidst a show of lights & colour. Complete with snow dome, torches & fire dancing winter is truly wonderful at this special event.

O DAY AT PERTH CULTURAL CENTRE– Sunday 29th April. The cultural heart of Perth was bursting with fun on Sunday 29 April when the MRA and the City of Perth presented ‘O’ Day 2012 from 10am to 4pm. This free family festival in the Perth Cultural Centre, the Northbridge Piazza and along William Street featured roving entertainers, face painting, magic shows and a spectacular vintage carousel. Art and craft events, badge-making, a reading challenge, cupcake decoration and a circus school offer plenty of interactive activities for the kids in the Urban Orchard, with the magic of theatre revealed in the State Theatre Centre courtyard. There was be a wonderful range of food on offer with a Street Food Market set up in the Central area and an array of musical entertainment on offer for those just looking to relax.

WAMi Artisan Market – Sunday 27th May

As part of the WAMi Festival Sunday Live & for the first time in the line up Events & Beyond were proud to present Artisan Markets at this event. As part of Sunday Live, a lively outdoor market – the WAMi Artisan Market – was set up in the Perth Cultural Centre, featuring eclectic handmade goods, quirky finds, unique children’s wares at this free, family-friendly event on the last weekend in May. A wonderful way to enjoy a Sunday afternoon in Autumn – fabulous WA artists brought the Perth Cultural Centre to life as local Artisans stalls line the central area of the Cultural Centre & everyone’s favourite street food was cooked up at the food market opposite the Wetlands stage. What a wonderful day was had in the blissful Autumn sunshine – thanks everyone for a great day!

FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS AT PERTH CULTURAL CENTRE – Fri 9th & Fri 16th Dec 2011 – 5-10pm       Perth’s premier events destination was the centre of festivity over Christmas that attracted many Western Australians to rediscover the cultural heart of Perth. For two Fridays in December, the 9th and 16th, Events & Beyond, EPRA and the Department of Culture and the Arts lit up the Perth Cultural Centre with free evening celebrations as part of the city-wide Festival of Christmas. Between 5pm and 10pm each evening, the Perth Cultural Centre was filled with food & gift markets, activities and live entertainment for a family Christmas celebration.  As darkness fell, an iconic light-based public art installation lit up the area – a stunning piece that provided a dazzling display against the backdrop of our beautiful city skyline. Thousands of people enjoyed the space & all that was on offer – with live music playing in 2 areas there was something for everyone. Looking forward to doing it all again next year!

Perth Cultural Centre came alive to showcase the Commonwealth….Events & Beyond organied the Food & Gift Markets where you could find a wonderful spread of food from around the globe – tastes from all over the Commonwealth including India, Singapore, Malaysia, South America & England to name a few. FESTIVAL FINALE – COMMONWEALTH FESTIVAL – October 2011. The closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Festival for CHOGM was a fantastic celebration of music set amongst a display of fabulous flags, with international food on offer & the South Perth Foreshore filled with a multitude of mixed nationalities all coming together to enjoy our wonderful city. The talking point was the final air show with a spectacular fireworks display against the backdrop of the city skyline.
